Uptown lies directly east of Downtown and offers an eclectic mix of historic mansions, new loft construction, major hospital campuses and small office buildings. The majority of the neighborhood is still made up of single family homes in varying historic styles. The general boundaries are Broadway, Colfax Avenue, 23rd Avenue, and York Street.
