I love real estate. I have been selling houses and condos for 10 years and counting after first getting licensed in 1997, but my experience in the industry might track back to the 1980s as a kid growing up in Denver's southern suburbs. I learned the trade from my mother, and was eager to help her with brochures, open houses, and maps to properties for special events. After graduating from Cherry Creek High School, I left Colorado to attend Middlebury College in Vermont and returned with degrees in music and geography. After a brief stint at making maps, I obtained my license to sell real estate and was finally "officially" hired as my mother's assistant at The Devonshire Company.
Back then the market in Denver was very hot - and it wasn't long before I was able to go out and start selling on my own. When Fuller Towne & Country Properties first began I helped open up the LoDo office in Writer Square. Working downtown helped me become familiar with all the great residential options Downtown Denver has to offer from hi-rise condos to industrial-style lofts. And yet my business has always gone where my clients take me, whether that is Capitol Hill or Highlands Ranch. I am quite comfortable working throughout the metro area – remember I am great with maps and I have lived in Denver all my life.
After working at Kentwood City Properties I have rejoined Fuller Towne & Country Properties as of the fall 2007. This time around it’s official: I have teamed up with my mother, Ann, to provide a greater depth of service to all my clients looking to move up into the higher end of the housing market. With over 30 years experience and knowledge of the Cherry Hills and Central Denver marketplaces, Ann’s involvement, knowledge, and experience will help ensure positive results for all our clients. When I am not selling real estate I am usually either singing with or helping manage the business of Kantorei (www.kantorei,org), a non-profit organization and semi-professional choir I started with some long time friends from high school at about the same time I started selling real estate. I spend quite a bit of time with Sean, my partner of 6 years, taking care of our dog and house located in Denver's Sloans Lake neighborhood west of downtown. And whenever possible I try to get out on the ski slopes, the golf course, or the tennis court to keep my skills for those sports in check!
